Hi Team,

I hipe you're fine and safe, I wish you the bets for this new year.

I have just 2 questions regarding htaccess file creation through admin tools :

1) when we modify options inside htaccess maker and when we click on "save without creating htaccess file", where the data are stored? in which sql table?

2) today, of maybe for the future, is there any way to generate a htaccess file programmaticaly without using admin tools GUI? I know I can modify it manually and then do a copy/paste, but does admin tools allow to do it woth a CLI command for example?

Thanks

L.

Hello,

thank you and happy New Year to you, too.

  1. Htaccess Maker params are stored inside the #__admintools_storage table, with the key cparams. There you find all WAF settings encoded as a JSON string. The one your looking for is inside the key htconfig , its contents are stored a base64 encoded.
  2. No, at this moment the only option is to use the GUI. We're going to add support for CLI actions in Joomla 4
