I thought it was resolved and apparently it was not!

 

After installing Admintools, the Administrator logon "/site/administrator" returns an error and returns to "/site".

I followed the instructions on

Advice for installation problems with March 2021 releases of our Joomla software.

several times, without success.

This is not something that has changed in Admin Tools 6. It's something that was last changed in Admin Tools 2.0.0 back in late 2010/early 2011. You are using the Administrator secret URL parameter. If your secret URL parameter is foobar and your site is https://www.example.com you need to access your site's administrator as https://www.example.com/administrator/index.php?foobar instead of https://www.example.com/administrator

If you do not remember your administrator secret URL parameter, or if your browser / password manager "helpfully" filled it in for you without realising it when you were using the Configure WAF or Quick Setup Wizard pages, you need to follow these instructions: https://www.akeeba.com/documentation/admin-tools/atwafissues.html
