Hello, I am trying to get my site verified by Google by downloading an html file from Google and then uploading it to my root directory. The file is definitely there but Google says that it "could not find your site....."
If I try to access the .html file directly via a browser I get
ForbiddenYou don't have permission to access this resource.
is this possibly being blocked by Admin Tools?

yes, you have to create an exception inside the Htaccess Maker. Please add the filename inside the field Allow direct access to these files then regenerate the .htaccess.
That should fix your issue.
