EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.

Description of my issue:

I  don't think Akeeba backup backs up my mysql database even I have choosen Full site backup option. I have not excluded any tables from the backup. I have set the backup to be in zip-format. I just can't find the mysql dump file. The log zip file is useless because there is no information in it. I cant find out how to generate the log correctly. I don't get any errors when I run a manually backup job. Can someone please help me?

Akeeba Staff

Hello,

your log file is empty because most likely the log level is set too low. Please change it to All info and debug.

Regarding the SQL file, once you unpack the archive, you can find it inside the installation/sql folder. Please note that your database dump will be split into several different files for easier handling at backup and restoration time.
