Just updated to the new Akeeba Backup Professional 3.0.a3, and I get a large error message in the backend, which is fixed by doing what the message says, that is switiching the source of jquery to google ajax api. So, do I lose any functionality by doing this?
Thanks in advance!

dlb
Either method will allow the JQuery library to be loaded, the first suggestion loads it from your local copy, the second loads it from a remote website, Akeeba requires this library to function properly. We have had a number of users that have had problems with the library being loaded and it issues this warning now to allow the user to fix the problem.

How do I can fix this problem?

Sorry, I had this to specify: My site runs under Windows 2003 / IIS. So no check for Linux privileges make sense. Does this is the problem now?

kuk
All back to the beginning: I renewed the access rights for the media folder and it works now. :)

I'm glad you got it working. :)

The original poster was trying to install 3.0.a3, that version has a bug, if you are using it, you should upgrade to 3.0.a4 immediately.
