I built a joomla site on my local computer on Wamp server wchich is using MySQL 5.1.36.
I got the error message when importing the database to a remote server which is using MySQL 4.0.27

So I want to know if with AkeebaBackup Pro I can solve this problem. Mysql 4.027 is no more available.

Thanks in advance

I think the MySQL 4.0.27 is too old. The MySQL 4 compatibility in Akeeba actually takes it back to 4.1. The 4.0.27 is really old. If your host is letting their software versions get this old, they are inviting exploitation of known bugs in these old software versions. Some hosts offer more than one version of MySQL and php, you may just have to look around on your hosting page to find a newer version.

To switch Akeeba to MySQL 4.1 compatibility mode, go to Configuration and click the Configure button on the Database Backup Engine line. Then change MySQL Compatibility from Default to MySQL 4.1. I'm not sure this will work on your 4.0.27 version.
