This is the error I get:

Backup Failed
The backup operation has been halted because an error was detected.
The last error message was:
Could not rename last JPA part to .JPA extension.

but in the log I did notice it is trying to write to my old server although the settings in the configuration are correctly pointing to new server and I can see the temporary files in the tmp folder on the new server when it is attempting to backup.

Thanks in advance for your help.

Never mind, there was a jos_configuration.php file with old settings for some reason... disabled and back to normal.

I'm glad you got it working. :)
