I purchased the Pro version, but I can't seem to get it to work. It's been installed, and when I check for updates it tells me 'You have to specify your AkeebaBackup.com username and password in the component's parameters for the update to work!' - but I can't find anywhere to enter these settings? I tried following the tutorials and videos on the site, but they all seem to be for older versions...please advise?

Also, how do I get the Akeeba Backup icon on the main control panel page???

Thanks!

I answered one of my own questions...I found the link to the Admin Console icon, but I had to really dig around on the site for it, and finally found it under the Free version - it's not anywhere on the Pro version page, so you should probably add this - or just build-it-in to the Pro version...

I think I also figured out that I only need my username/password to check for upgrades - but I'd still like to know how to do this, and where to enter it?

I do have another question now...the main reason I paid for the Pro version was for easy automation of the backups, but I've gone through all of the menu's and all of the documentation on th esite, and I can't figure it out AT ALL. How do I setup the 'easy' cron jobs???

The admin module should be on the downloads page with the Pro version. I'll ask Nicholas to look at that.

The Parameters icon is in the upper right corner of the Akeeba Control Panel screen. Yes, the only reason that you need the user ID and password is to check for updates. Since you have the Pro version, you need to log in to download them.

You can find the instructions for the Akeeba CRON jobs here.
