Hi
I had installed on my localhost: com_akeeba-3.0-pro on Joomla! 1.5.18. I have a problem this error appear when I begin the restore with kickstart-3.0, on the online server: Could not open /var/www/vhosts/nameofmydomain.it/httpdocs/installation/css/img/busy.gif for writing.
Thanks

dlb
This is a misleading error. The problem really isn't in /installation/css. it is in the root of your site. Change the permissions on the root folder so Kickstart can write to it. It uses the root folder as a temporary folder to extract the files into before moving them to the final location.

by root folder you mean HTTPDOCS folder or?

dlb
Yes, give httpdocs 755 permissions and this should fix the issue.
