I have purchased pro version a few days ago and set up successfully on a handful of sites, using Amazon s2 for storing the backups

Ive tried to install and set up on 2 other sites today and am running in to the same problem.

When inputting the S3 Amazon account information in the data processing area of back end configuration, upon saving or applying all the information is removed and reverts back to the default.

Ive been and checked all my S3 account details, and checked in the sites where i have it working and all seems OK??

Thanks,

Just to provide some more information, I have just successfully added pro & s3 details into a 3rd websites. This site I upgraded from akeeba core free version.

The other 2 sites that wont save the s3 details where upgraded from joomlapack?

Any help/ideas appreciated

Thanks

Andy

Do other configuration settings get saved, or do they all revert to the defaults? Moreover, which Akeeba Backup version are you using? 3.0 has a known issue with some hosts.

Hi,

I am using latest pro version - com_akeeba-3.1.rc

Ive installed it on around 10 sites now, 8 of them installed just fine, saved all the s3 details fine, and are backing up fine too.

The 2 Im having trouble with , seemed to install fine, I uninstalled joomlapack from them and then reinstalled the newer pro version of com_akeeba-3.1.rc

??
They work, backup to the akeeba default folder, but just when i try and input the s3 details, which are the same as all the others, when i click save or apply, all settings are saved, by the s3 details go back to default.

Both running on joomla, 1.5.20, with updated versions of just about everything, though they are only very small showcase sites really

Can you send me a PM with Super Admin details to one of the affected sites so that I can try to figure out what's going on? No need to give me S3 account settings, I'll use one of my disposable ones for testing purposes.
