When I try to make the update from the admin panel I get this error. It was working fine with the last update.

My error message

* SERVER_CONNECT_FAILED, failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 403 Forbidden
* Could not download the update package. Make sure your server's firewall doesn't block the connection and that you have specified a valid username and password for the Professional edition.

Please try a manual update (download the Professional package and install it on top of your exisiting Akeeba Backup Professional installation). There is a server-side change which might make it impossible for 3.0 to automatically update to 3.1.
