Is it possible to set up an automatic backup via ftp over SSH/SCP?

If it is can someone let me know of anything specific I would need to setup to do this?

Thanks for any help.

SSH (and SCP, which is file copy over SSH) is a completely different protocol than FTP. What you ask is, simply put, technically infeasible. What exactly do you want to do? Maybe it is a feature I can build for the next version of Akeeba Backup.

Thanks Nicholas

I just was just something that was asked by the IT guy of a client. The plan was to just ftp the files directly to the server but he asked and I said I would find out.

It's the only time someone has asked, but then, it's the only time an IT professional has been involved with this process.

Again, thanks for responding so quickly.
