I just moved my sites from HG baby account to new HG reseller account using latest akeeba Pro. Restoration went bfine no problems only what I found on all restored sites htaccess changed to hostgator default htaccess - so no htaccess files were restored on any of 17 sites, Also because I had some problems with permissions I tried use admin tools fot fix permissions - when I ran tool it deleted whole htaccess file is that normal ?

The .htaccess files could not be restored because the permissions on the default HostGator files were too restrictive. Normally, there should be a copy left, named htaccess.bak.

Running the Fix Permissions tool does not remove any files. Did you try using the .htaccess Maker feature of the Admin Tools Pro release?
