I have the pro Version and I can do a backup that saves the backup files to CouldFiles.

When I perform a normal backup in the admin backend, it works. When I schedule a backup using Lazy Plugin, it fails.

I have attached the log-files. I have installed it on 3 different sites so far and Lazy Plugin doesn't work on any site...

Any ideas?

The log indicates that the backup did not start clean, Akeeba is trying to continue a backup that it thought was in process. This can be caused by temporary files left over in the tmp directory, but since this involves the Lazy Backup plugin, I want Nicholas to take a look at it to be sure. I don't think I've ever seen one start in the middle like that and run to completion.

Hi, it might be because I did a manual backup and then while the backup was running I was enabling the Lazy Backup Plugin?

Yes, this could be the cause. First make sure that you are using the latest version of the plugin, released together with Akeeba Backup 3.1 Stable. Disable the plugin, remove all akeeba*.php files from the temp directory, clean up the Pending entries from the "Administer Backup Files" page and then re-enable the plugin. This should fix that.

Hi Nicholas,

I did what you told me and enabled lazy plugin. It seems to run without errors, however I don't see any files stored in my CloudFiles. Can you please check the log? It's attached. Thanks!

Your backup hadn't finished yet. Do note that since the lazy scheduling plugin only proceeds with the backup while you have visitors on your site it will take a LONG time before the full backup ends. Please give it quite a few hours to finish, especially on big sites like yours. Maybe it needs 6-8 hours to finish the backup on your site (assuming a steady traffic pattern).

If you do not want to wait so long for a backup too complete I'd seriously suggest looking at the alternatives, such as the native CRON backup (if you have access to the PHP CLI binary) or the Akeeba Remote Control method.
