Post Processing Engine — upload to remote SFTP (SSH) server

Test SFTP connection gives

“Your web server does not have the SSH2 PHP module, therefore can not connect to SFTP servers.”

Host is Ionos and when I asked them to install the SSH2 PHP module they responded  “I just check the server requirement with my higher level support. By default the server and our shared hosting has libSSH Version        libssh2/1.8.0.”

I am trying to transfer between two different contracts both on Ionos and both with libssh2/1.8.0

What am I doing wrong?

Having libssh2 is a necessary requirement to compiling and using the PHP extension ssh2. It is not, however, adequate.

Please tell your host that they need to compile, install and enable the PHP extension ssh2 available from https://pecl.php.net/package/ssh2.

Thanks Nicholas .. I will ask them. I don't hold out much hope of them actually doing so!
