EXTREMELY IMPORTANT: Please attach a ZIP file containing your Akeeba Backup log file in order for us to help you with any backup or restoration issue. If the file is over 2Mb, please upload it on your server and post a link to it.


Description of my issue: 

Akeeba backup pro is not kicked prior to Joomla3.9.26 upgrade process though Backup on update plugin is active.
Is this a akeeba backup problem? If so, please make a fix.

We published version 8.0.4 last week which addressed this issue. Please upgrade.

I confirmed akeebabackup is kicked on 8.04 at Joomla upgrade time. Solved!   Thank you for your quick action.
