If I use site transfer to transfer my site to a new URL, will the original still work?

In fact, I want to duplicate my original site to a new site, pls advise the best method to do.

Hello,

the Site Transfer Wizard is just a guided procedure to take a backup, move to the new server and extract. The original website will be intact.

You can find more information in this video guide: https://www.akeeba.com/videos/1212-akeeba-backup/1619-abtc05-site-transfer-wizard.html
