Description of my issue:

ย

Hello,ย

While my backups are setup to be sent to Dropbox (which is working fine) it seems they are still remaining on the server as well. I couldn't find a place where to configure that they should be deleted from the server while the file is successfully sent to dropbox. Can you please tell me what to do ?

Thank you.ย

Hello,

the option you're looking for is called "Delete archive after processing" and you can find it in the Post-Processing engine options

Thank you for your answer, this was correctly set in the post-processing engine option. I just provoked a backup to check but Akeeba does the backup, the files are sent to DropBox but still not deleted from the server. I attach the logs of this backup process to my message. Is there something else I should check ?

Thank you very much for the backup log. I can see that the backup is interrupted after 5 minutes.

Looking at the user agent, I can see that your are triggering it using WebCron.org, am I right? I'd suggest to increase the timeout inside WebCron, so Akeeba Backup will have enough time to upload everything.

On top of that, I can see that your backup is quite large, we're talking about 2.4Gb . This is not a problem for Akeeba Backup, but it will take some time to upload to your cloud storage service. If you can't increase the timeout inside WebCron, you can review what's actually included inside the backup and try to exclude some non essential data, for example gallery images cache, videos, static data etc etc in order to reduce the amount of data that should be transferred.

Thank you for your help, that solved the problem I had to change from 600 secs to 1800 secs and now it is behaving as it should.ย
