I cannot figure out where to enter my download ID that I've obtained in the "My Subscriptions" page. In WordPress on the Configuration page there is no place to enter the ID. My site remains at the CORE level rather than Professional and I it is hanging at 75% on backups. I subscribed to that I could upgrade to Pro, run the Alice analyzer.

In the meantime I've attached my log file for analysis so that you can help determine why my backup hangs at 75%.

Thanks

Hello Brad,

Download ID & Upgrade to Professional

First you need to upgrade to Akeeba Backup Professional. Due to a limitation in the way WordPress installs plugins this has to be done manually. Start by downloading the ZIP file of the Professional version from our site and extract it on your computer. Upload all extracted files and folders to your site's wp-content/plugins/akeebabackupwp folder, overwriting existing files/folders.

Now log in to your site's wp-admin section. Click on Akeeba Backup. Scroll all the way down. You will see the System Configuration button in the last icons section. Click on it. On the new page and right below the toolbar buttons there are tabs. The "Application configuration" is selected by default. Take a look further to the right. Find the Update tab and click on it. The Download ID can be entered there.

Backup issues

I can see that the backup completes successfully (the progress bar is not accurate for technical reasons) but the process gets stuck while applying quotas, i.e. when Akeeba Backup checks if it can delete old backups. It looks like the server blocks deletion of files through PHP? I can't see any reason why this would cause any problems.

Thank you Nicholas. I've successfully updated to Professional. I'll keep an eye on the quota issue and if necessary I'll just manually delete older backups for now. PHP is able to delete items on my system as I regularly delete gallery photos, etc. so I'm not sure why it was hanging but after installing the professional 1.0.3 version the backup completed successfully 100%.

Thanks again for a GREAT product! Keep up the good work.
