hi there,

i tried upgrading Akeeba to 1.3.0 with the update button but got this error:
cURL library error #3: malformed

So i downloaded the latest version and installed it with WP > plugins > upload.
Now i have both versions installed. I can deactivate 1.2.2 and activate 1.3.

Can i just delete the older version without losing settings etc.?
The same with the deactivated plugin of the free version.
(See screen capture)

Thanks in advance
kind regards
Cedric

Hello Cedric,

yes, you can do that.
However, if you want to be 100% safe, I'd suggest you to export your backup profiles.
You can do that by going inside Profiles management and click on the Export button. In this way you'll download all the setting for those profile, which you can restore if anything goes wrong after deleting the old versions of Akeeba Backup.
