 Hi Nicholas,

I have the same error message after updating and as it is described in ticket #17538: Latest updates seem to have done something to ATS.

"
Fatal error: Access level to AtsToolbar::renderSubmenu() must be public (as in class FOFToolbar) in /home/www/web588/html/customerarea/administrator/components/com_ats/toolbar.php on line 203
"

I'm not sure what I can do to resolve this problem too on my installation.

Thanks for your advise.
Francesco

Francesco,

Due to a change in the FoF layer, you need to upgrade all of your Akeeba packages with this release.

Current installed versions regarding to akeeba components:

- Akeeba Backup Professional 3.8.1 (2013-09-10) "you have the latest version"

- Admin Tools version 2.5.8 "you have the latest version"

- Akeeba Ticket System "Error as described"

Q: If I try to reinstall ats, will this resolve the problem (and keep my tickets in the database?)

Thanks

dlb
A reinstall will not affect your tickets. If you uninstall, then install new, your tickets will be deleted (and we will be testing your restore procedures).
