 Hi Nicholas,

I've just started using ATS and have come across a small issue when trying to save an offline schedule: none of the multi-select fields (weekdays, days, months, years) save their values and always result in the value being '*' (all) no matter what.

I can see from inspecting the weekdays select list after choosing a day that there is no 'selected' attribute added to the corresponding option tag. Also, I am getting a JS warning in the console:
event.returnValue is deprecated. Please use the standard event.preventDefault() instead.

Any help with this would be most appreciated!

Thnks,

Gez

You are right. I am uploading a new dev release right now which fixes this issue.

Hi Nicholas,

That's great, thanks... One quick question regarding updates now that I have the dev release installed:

How does the auto-updates behave now that I have this installed? Basically, I set my updates to receive beta updates and I now have an update waiting... Should I revert it to stable now that I have the dev release installed and will this then just get the next production-ready update?

Many thanks,

Gez

Hello Gez,

The dev release will always present itself as out of date. You will have to keep an eye on our site for the next stable release and install it when it's published.

Brilliant, I will do!

Thanks again Nicholas!

One last question if I may, related to the offline schedule: I've searched through the docs and tickets but can't seem to find reference to setting up an 'Offline' message to let users know further info about what they can do when tickets are offline, similar to the one that you present in a modal window when put of hours.

Does such a feature exist? Have I missed something?

Thanks again!

The off-line schedule turns on the "No new replies" or "No new tickets" (or both) features of ATS. The answer depends on whether you're using "No new replies" or "No new tickets". In both cases you just have to publish one or more modules, e.g. a custom HTML module, in a specific module position:

For "No new replies": Publish one or more modules in the ats-noreplies or ats-offline module position. See file components/com_ats/views/post/tmpl/noreplies.php

For "No new tickets": Publish one or more modules in the ats-nonewtickets or ats-offline module position. See file components/com_ats/views/newticket/tmpl/nonewtickets.php

As you can see the ats-offline module position is shown in both cases, e.g. when you want to have a common off-line message. The other two module positions are only shown in the specific case, allowing for a message specifically crafted for when no replies or no new tickets respectively are forbidden.
