 Upon upgrading to version 2.2.1 Tickets disappeared from the Admin component menu on the back end. I attempted to install in twice in succession as suggested in another ticket, but that didnt work.

I'm afraid that's a Joomla issue. Unfortunately we haven't found a reliable workaround. You can always access the component by going to /administrator/index.php?option=com_ats on your site. We're still trying to find a better solution. If we have one we'll integrate it in the next version of ATS.

I do have one question, if you please. Did you upgrade from ATS 1.x, 2.0.x, 2.1.x or 2.2.0? I'm trying to establish how to reproduce this issue because, frankly, our post-installation script is already trying to work around it with code I've been using the last 5 years in all of our components without any problem.

Thanks! I was able to reproduce the issue and find its solution. Please install FOF 3.0.12 first, then reinstall ATS 2.2.1. Do you see the menu item now?

I replicated my production site on my test platform and installed FOF 3.0.12 and then reinstalled ATS 2.2.1. When it didnt show the menu item the first time i tried a second reinstall with no success either.

It's very likely that it will work once we publish a regular release that includes FOF 3.0.12. If that doesn't work, I have no other possible solution in mind :(

Problems like these happen as changes to joomla and other plugins occur. I am truly thankful for the support of folks like yourself that work with those of us that use your products. GREAT WORK TEAM AKEEBA!!!!!!
