Hello,Β

We have two categories set-up in the ticketing system. They are named "Technical Support" and "Account Support".Β

If a ticket belongs in the "Technical Support" category and we select "Account Support" from the drop-down in the top left hand corner (allows you to change category) then nothing happens. The ticket is not moved into the "Account Support" category. I have installed ATS 3.4.2 on a fresh Joomla install, configured it properly and can confirm the issue happens there too. Multiple browsers have also been tried.Β

I have attached a screenshot of the drop-down referred to above.

I am able to change the category of a ticket in the back-end so this problem only exists in the front-end.

Kind regards,
Dale

This is indeed a JavaScript issue. I will fix it, but the next release of ATS is scheduled for September (we avoid August releases because half of our clients are on vacation sometime between mid-July and early September).

Is this an urgent fix for you? If yes, I can help with a development release which will be 3.4.2 plus a patch for the JavaScript issue.

Thank you for offering to fix this urgently. It's not a big problem for us so I'm happy to wait until the next release in September.
