I've done some reading about the FTP transport error, and so far the suggestions on the forum haven't helped me. Hence, I'm posting a new thread.

The site backs up, but the download never happens. I've tried making sure I have only 1 FTP connection, that didn't help. I've tried making sure the file name isn't especially long. That didn't work. I can login right after the backup finishes and download the file manually.

Any ideas?

Ok, I knew once I posted requesting help I'd figure it out. In the 'Downloads' tab, I failed to specify the 'FTP path to backup output directory' and had left it at the default /

I put in the path, relative to my FTP root, and all was well.

I'm glad you got it working. :D
