Hi Nicholas,

is it possible to start the remote control as a service?
I want to use it on my v-server and actually have to be logged in to run the backup jobs using remote control.

It would be very nice to be able to start it as a service.

Thanks.

Greetings
Kai

Thanks.

I've already tried to install AkeebaRemoteControl.exe as a service on my v-server but with no success.
I can't start the service I named AkeebaRemoteControl.

Greetings

Why would you want to run it as a service? Do you want to schedule backups on remote sites? If this is the case, you can use the PHP alternative to wget script on our documentation to run scheduled backups. If this doesn't cut it, please PM me so that we can further discuss this.
