After Backup I want to restore the backup on a subdomain.
After start kickstart.php the Extracting is pending hours without starting.
On the ftp-server I see the file.jpa, kickstart.php and a new file php-cgi.core

The php-cgi.core file means that the PHP binary on your server crashed. The *.core files are called core dumps and are generated when a computer program terminates abnormally.

Please note that the generation of a core dump file does NOT mean that Kickstart crashed. To the contrary, it means that PHP itself crashed in a completely unexpected manner. Please contact your host.

When PHP crashes like that it's an indication that the server has not been set up correctly. For example, they could be using a multi-threaded (ZTS) build of the PHP CGI executable with an inherently single threaded FastCGI server, leading to said crash. That's a server configuration level issue that neither you nor us have any say on. Hence the need to contact your host.
