This plugin is a fallback method to apply the Download ID, necessary to download updates to the Professional edition of our software. Please keep it enabled at all times. Without getting too technical, if you regenerate the update sites through your site's Update Sites page Joomla will no longer be able to "see" the Download ID you've entered in our component's Options page unless you either have this plugin enabled or if you go ahead and save our component's Options page again. This is a problem in Joomla itself; this plugin is its workaround.
