This integration plugin must be enabled for SocialMagick to be able to show OpenGraph tabs in menu items, and use these settings to override component, category, and content item OpenGraph parameters.
If you disable this integration plugin you can expect SocialMagick to behave in ways that you will perceive as wrong, weird, or outright broken.
This is a plugin because there are very few, very specific use cases which warrant this kind of weird behaviour. If you are unsure if that applies to you, chances are it does not. It's one of those things that you know when you need it, and shouldn't touch if you don't absolutely need to do something really weird...
