Preliminary support for Joomla 6. This version comes with preliminary compatibility with Joomla! 6. At the time of this writing, Joomla 6.0.0 Beta 1 has been released. That's our compatibility target. We expect more changes to take place before Joomla! 6 stable is released, with an as yet unknown impact on compatibility. We will keep following Joomla 6 development and adapting our software as necessary.
Reply By Email now uses mail headers instead of the "Reply above this line" message.
In the past, replying to a ticket by email required responses to include the special “Reply above this line” message in the email body for ATS to understand which ticket this email is in reply to. This required a certain discipline from users. Moreover, the new Mail View Templates feature in Joomla 5.3 largely broke that expectation, causing all sorts of formatting issues. In this release we are using the standard References mail header to let the mail client automatically provide us the unique ID of the ticket being replied to. This falls back to reading the ticket ID from the email subject. Since Mail View Templates do cause serious formatting issues when people reply to tickets by email, our mail templates have been updated to disable Mail View Templates by default. This applies to new installations, and when using the Reset button in the Mail Templates page of the component.
