Joomla! version: 2.5.4
PHP version: 5.3.2-1ubuntu4.10
MySQL version: 5.1.41-3ubuntu12.10
Host: Gigas.com (VPS Server)
Admin Tools version: Admin Tools version 2.2.5 (reinstalled over 2.2.5, to be sure it is the last one)

Description of my issue:
- Problem with extplorer component after creating the custom .htaccess file through through Admin Tools (from now AT)

SCENARIO:
- I'm still 'sharping the pencil' with my custom .htaccess file (not yet final one)
- Under a non secure (close to standard) .htaccess file... extplorer component wotks through backend area
- After creating the custom and more secure .htaccess file through AT, the explorer component backend window start as an infinite (neverending) loop and never loads the directory window.
- Following your docs checked through Firebug (Google Chrome option gave same report) to see what exceptions must be included at 'Server protection/Back-end directories where file type exceptions are allowed'
- The report shows a wrong path for all the network error:403 forbidden as:
http://www.mydomain.net/administrator//scripts/extjs3/
instead than:
http://www.mydomain.net/administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3/
- Added all declared 'network error:403 forbidden' exceptions as should be PLUS all the wrong path reported ones, TOO as follows:

administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3/adapter/ext
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/editarea
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.ondemandload
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.editareaadapater
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.fileuploadfield
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.statusbar
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.locationbar
administrator/components/com_extplorer/scripts/extjs3/resources/css
administrator/scripts/extjs3
administrator/scripts/extjs3/adapter/ext
administrator/scripts/editarea
administrator/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.ondemandload
administrator/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.editareaadapater
administrator/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.fileuploadfield
administrator/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.statusbar
administrator/scripts/extjs3-ext/ux.locationbar
administrator/scripts/extjs3/resources/css

- The problem remains
Nicholas, I'm alredy sending to your default direct email address a copy of the collected screenshots plus a copy of the custom related .htaccess.txt with a link to this post (surely you will be able to see where is the problem)

Thanks in advance for your attention, quick answer and always close support,
Rgrds,

The only thing which is required for eXtplorer to work with a custom .htaccess created by Admin Tools' .htaccess Maker is to add eXtplorer's fetchscript.php (administrator/components/com_extplorer/fetchscript.php) to the list of allowed files and regenerate your .htaccess. I believe that you added too many and unnecessary things, except the one thing which is required.
