I'm experiencing errors with scheduled backup from service.

Phil Taylor, from, wrote me that this is a known issue and that I should upgrade to release to solve the problem.

For the moment my WordPress dashboard didn't notice the new release of Akeeba Backup for WordPress.

I've tried to install above the current version but it seems that this is not possible (bad Joomla! habit ;)).

Do I need to uninstall the current version first? If I do so, will I lost my current configuration?

Do not uninstall! It will lose all your settings. Download version (being released right now) and follow the manual update instructions in
