I'm moving a customer's site from a shared server to our own server. I installed the latest version of Akeeba for Wordress and activated it. However, after loading I can't actually view the akeeba control panel in wp-admin. The browser sits there for a very long time waiting (spinning icon) but eventually gives up. There's nothing in the logs pertaining to this problem

Any assistance gratefully received.

Can you please install the latest developer's release available from https://www.akeebabackup.com/download/developer-releases/backupwp-dev/rev2748542.html on that site and let me know if that fixes the blank page? We have found a situation where this could happen but we need some verification from real world users before pulling the release trigger.
