I restored my http://dev.galmedpharma.com/ to http://galmedpharma.com/ using kickstart pro version 5.4.0 - the restore went well except that at the last stage when the links were to change from the original server to the new one - that did not happen and now my site http://galmedpharma.com/ points to the dev site and I cannot access the wordpress backend at all. All the references were not changed.

Please advise.

Kickstart just extracts the backup archive, it does not restore it. The restoration script is called ANGIE and it's included in the backup archive itself. This means that the relevant bit of information is which version of Akeeba Backup you used to take the backup. Should I assume it's 2.4.0 as indicated in your ticket?

When I visit http://galmedpharma.com/ I see that I am redirected to http://www.galmedpharma.com/, not the dev site. Moreover, when I go to the wp-admin address I see that the redirect displayed there is again into www.galmedpharma.com, not dev.galmedpharma.com. In other words, I cannot verify the issue you are describing.

Is it possible that your browser has a stale cache or there's a caching proxy somewhere on your network? Can you try using a different browser from a different computer, connected to the Internet with a different network connection? One simple test would be rebooting your phone, connecting to the Internet with 3G/4G and accessing your site from there.
