Hi Overthere,
I just encountered a behavior which we had an 2.1.x : When initiating an update the process downloads the update.php but doesn't start the process. Do you already know of this? is there another way than to update manually?

The piece of software that extracts the zip file is updated in this update. Some servers don't like it when the running software is replaced. You just need to download the package from our Downloads page, extract it locally and upload the individual files via FTP to your site.

The next update should work as expected.
