CORBISER

Hello,  I moved all my webs to another server, and now I am trying to configure Backup Solo

I can do a backup without problem, and it upload to Dropbox,  but I don't receive the mail about the result of the backup

I tried with "php mail"   and with "smtp",  and always I receive the test mail, but not the automatic mail at the end of the backup.

I attach the log of one of this backup

Can you help me, please ?
Thanks

Carlos

You will never receive emails when you start a backup from the backend interface of Akeeba Solo. You are running the backup in your browser, you know when it ends and you can see the warnings printed on your screen. It does not make sense sending you an email about the information you already see.

Emails are only send when you are using the legacy front–end backup URL, the JSON API or the CLI. Even in this case you need to have enabled the “Email on backup completion” option, enter the email addresses you want to be emailed and enabled email in Akeeba Solo.

Kindly note that this information is in our documentation and the tooltip for the “Email on backup completion” option.
