Attached is screen print of the form presented when "New Ticket" is selected. (I'm using the latest stable version)

Note that the verbiage of the help does not match up with the "Ticket Visibilty" type shown.

Ticket Visbility defaults to "Public" yet this is the verbiage of the text that appears...

This is a private ticket. Only you and the support staff will be able to see its contents. It is safe to include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information. It will cost you no credits.

Yes, I spotted that bug last week and fixed it :) The fix will be available in the new release which will be published tomorrow.

It looks like this issue still exists - even here at akeebabackup.com. (Screen snip attached is what I see when I click "New")

...which explians the

"Due to the very high number of pending support tickets our average response time will be over a day."

You are probably getting a lot of "private" tickets meant to be posted as "public".

Not really. Most of the tickets I receive all days, including today, are public. It just happened that overnight there were 30+ tickets filed. Most of them have been dealt with, there are a few still pending for further information and at the same time I'm processing all six feature requests which resulted from those tickets. The label is unrelated. I can see what you mean, it has to do with a bad default setting I haven't fixed yet on my site. It has to wait. I have bigger fish to fry still :)
