I'm currently setting up the Akeeba Ticket System on a multilingual website. Using two different languages.

Everything works correctly using both languages but switching the language while (e.g.) the ticket category page is loaded, doesn't work.

I've made two menu items "Ticket Support" for the NL and for the GB language. The site is fully setup as multi-lingual and all other items (and Akeeba products) work perfectly.
I'm using the default language switch module from Joomla! and when I check the links for both lanuages  (flags to select) I've noticed the following:

NL flag points to: http://mysite.nl/persoonlijk/support-tickets-nl.html
GB flag points to: http://mysite.nl/en/persoonlijk/support-tickets-nl.html

I think the GB link should be: http://mysite.nl/en/personal/support-tickets-gb.html (which shows indeed the english Support Ticket page).

Am I really missing something here or could it be something goes wrong with the routing of the Akeeba Ticket System component?

Your help is very much appreciated if it has somehting to do with the component, ofcourse :-) ).

Thank you and greetz,

Hello Nikolai,

what you are missing is the language association inside your menus.
If you get inside the menu item, you will see on the right a panel named Menu Item Association.
Here you can say that the current menu is linked to another one in the other language.

Starting from Joomla 2.5 multilanguage is a core feature, so you have to define it inside Joomla itself, third party extensions can't do anything about that.

Yes, that's true and I did create the Menu Item Association for both menus. I'm doing something wrong here.

For now it's obvious it hasn't got anything to do with the Akeeba Ticket System; I had a little hope it could have to do with routing but didn't realize that isn't really necessary for the multilanguage support in J2.5.

Thank you for your respons; I'll figure it out somehow so you can close this ticket ;-)
