 We just updated the component with the dev version per your suggestion in Ticket #20373 and now we see the message: An updated version of Akeeba Ticket System (1.5.2) is available for installation. How do we remove this message (as you can imagine, it won't look good in our client demo)?

Thanks, SOHO Prospecting Team

This is an unfortunate limitation of Joomla!'s extensions update feature :( It is always reporting a new version when you have a dev release installed. However, you can work around this manually for your client demo.

Open the file administrator/components/com_ats/views/cpanel/tmpl/default.php. Around line 344 you will see this: https://www.dropbox.com/s/bpw0japbhs37hgd/Screenshot%202014-06-26%2019.38.31.png Remove the line
$('#updateNotice').html(data);
and save the file. The update notification will now be removed.
