Hello,

I think I've found 2 small bugs in Akeeba Ticket System and I have a suggestion.

1) After I install the Akeeba Ticket System 2.4.1 the back-end of Admin Tools (Professional v.5.0.2) becomes unformatted. I don't see any errors in the Dev Tools of the page.
The problem is gone if I reinstall Admin Tools and both extensions look fine after that.

2) The custom ticket statuses are not displayed no matter how I define them in the back-end of Akeeba Ticket System. I've found the function that displayed the select field in the file "administrator/components/com_ats/Helper/ComponentParams.php" and added this line of code:

if(!is_array($statuses)){$statuses = array();}

just before the line:

$statuses[$part[0]] = $parts[1];


3) I need to navigate often from the details of the ticket back to the list of tickets, without making changes to the ticket. Can you add a "Back" button on that page? I managed to do this through javascript but maybe other have the same problem. I know you can click the "Back" button of the browser but I keep telling the customers to use the available buttons on the page. This would help with the consistency in using the site, I think.

On the list with my tickets I can see "Latest post by nicholas on Wednesday, 04 April 2018 06:26 CDT" under this ticket but can't see any reply from Nicholas when opening the ticket.
I'm not trying to pressure a response, just want to make sure I am not missing something when following the ticket.

Hello,

thank you very much for your reports. Let me answer to them:

  1. This is a known Joomla bug: sometimes it forgets to copy all the files, resulting in a broken installation. The only solution is to install the component twice in a row, like you did
  2. Thank you for the heads up, I just fixed it
  3. I'll take a look to check if that's something doable. We are using the same layout in several places, so I have to check if that could cause some issues. Moreover the interface it's a bit crowd at the moment, so we have to check where we could place such button.
  4. Yes that's something normal. That's because Nicholas assigned this ticket to me, "modifying" it, so ATS thinks a new reply has been posted. This is a very edgy case, since usually each ticket edit corresponds to a new post.

Hello,

On 1) I find it strange that the installation of Akeeba Ticket System is affecting Admin Tools.
This happened consistent on multiple sites. When ever I install the latest version of Akeeba Ticket System the layout of Admin Tools is not working until I install Admin Tools again as well.
If it helps I can set a temporary Joomla and give you a super administrator user name and password so you can see it for yourself.

Ok, I got what's going on.
In the latest version of Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup we made several changes in the underlying libraries.
Such changes were not ported inside the version shipped with Akeeba Ticket System, this means that when you install it, Admin Tools and Akeeba Backup won't find the required files.
We're going to fix that soon, in the meantime remember to install Akeeba Ticket System first and then the other components.
