Hello everyone!

I read about your software a few days ago and I was thrilled right away! The software looks very promising. First I downloaded the 3.xx package and it didn't work, then I tried the newest 2.xx package and I could succesfully backup with my browser.

Now I want to backup with Remote Control tool because it would be very easy to have on our backup server for other administrators to use! The software looks also very promising.. I only get one error when I want to start the backup. I can create the backup task without any problem. If I want to start the backup task I get the following error:

" XML-RPC layer error: TResult.GetErrorString - Item is not a error string "

Maby nice to mention that I use Windows 7 64-bits.. I don't think it's relevant but you never know! Also I am the administrator of the server.. so if there is anything needed to be installed or edited.. It is no problem :)

If you need anything else, please ask. I really hope someone can help me.

Thanks very much in advance,

Jona Koudijs

Jona,

You're using the 2.4.1 version of JoomlaPack, the current version of Remote and the plugin for JoomlaPack, correct? There are two different plugins, one for JoomlaPack and one for Akeeba. The plugin needs to be enabled. :) And web services in the Joomla! Global Configuration screen needs to be enabled as well.

If you downloaded the plugin before 3 pm GMT today, please download it again. I thought that bug only affected the Akeeba plugin, but you're getting the same error message that I did.
