English: nativeIt’s a chicken and egg issue, that’s why it can’t happen. The restoration overwrites all tables, including the log table. We’d have to update the last backup entry after restoration which is problematic. It works with Akeeba Backup for Joomla and WordPress but not with Solo. However, all products use the same installer. Therefore the process could fail or, worse, overwrite information I the #__ak_stats table not belonging to us. We’d have to add special information during backup. And it creates the obvious problem that restoring an old backup doesn’t update the table which will be a constant source of bug reports for YEARS. It’s easier for the users interested in that to just keep a note of when they last restored a backup.
