Hello. Just went to setup the Password Protection for wp-admin and immediately got an HTTP/500 on clicking Submit.

This is what was recorded in the error_log:

[Fri Sep 30 14:39:19.660992 2022] [core:alert] [pid 44344:tid 34381944832] [client re.da.ct.ed:0] /fs7b/redacted/public/wp-admin/.htaccess: Invalid command 'Order', perhaps misspelled or defined by a module not included in the server configuration, referer: https://redacted.org/wp-admin/admin.php?page=admintoolswp%2Fadmintoolswp.php&view=AdminPassword

The website is running on Apache 2.4. (I don't have a way of changing it. It's shared hosting.)

Note: This is a different error and a different problem as described in http://akee.ba/wp500htaccess.

Delete the .htaccess from your wp-admin folder. Your server does not include support for Apache 2.2 access control. We will address this in the next release next week.
