Description of my issue:

Hi Nicholas,

I just updated to Admin Tools 2.1.7 pro and tried to update to Joomla 1.7.1. But after starting the update I got this error:


Notice: Undefined variable: db in .../administrator/components/com_admintools/models/jupdate.php on line 555

Fatal error: Call to a member function setQuery() on a non-object in .../administrator/components/com_admintools/models/jupdate.php on line 555

Let me know, if you need more informations.

Hi Nobs,

Please use the "Reinstall 1.7.1", not the "Upgrade to 1.7.1". It seems that the upgrade packages use a completely different format than the one I anticipated when I released this version :(
