Description of my issue:
Gtranslate is not working on my website:
https://globaljournals.org/
(Translate module is on right hand side in the middle of website)
I think it is not working because:
my above URL is also not translating from
translate.google.com
it is giving 403 error

It sounds like your translation code may not be working properly. Since this is a module for Joomla, please make sure you have the latest version of that module. There may have been changes to the Google Translate API that may not be reflected within the module. If it is producting a 403 when you go to google translate directly, there may be a problem with the google translate itself.

If you have the latest, have you checked on the admin tools error log to see what might be generated? Are there any errors in the site?

Thanks for your reply!

http://translate.google.com/translate?hl=en&sl=en&tl=fr&u=https%3A%2F%2Fglobaljournals.org

if you go to above translate website and change URL from http://globaljournals.org:443/ to https://globaljournals.org then again it will change to same.

Also, There is not exception log in Admin Tools as seen from Firewall security log.

mod_gtranslate1.5.x.26.zip is used which is latest one.

Admin Tools Professional 2.1.10 which is also latest one.

First thing seems that Google is trying to access a secure page via a non-secure setting using a secure port. In my own website, this port isn't even available at all as I don't have an SSL Certificate on my site. With yours, the port seems to be active because of the certificate.

When trying to access that link directly with http://www.globaljournals.org:443/ I get a 400 error: Bad Request. I believe the problem is that Google is trying to access that page in a way that the server doesn't like. This error told me exactly that.

So, I think this is either a google translate problem or a server configuration problem. You are serving the site via HTTPS and you need to make sure that translate can actually handle that.

I don't believe admin tools is factoring into this at this time yet. I think it could be intercepted before it gets to the website at all.
