Hi there,
[Joomla version 1.5.24]

Im getting an error after we have updated to Admin Tools Professional 2.2.a1 (aplha release) when clicking on "Web Application Firewall".

500 - An error has occurred.
Layout "form" not found

I have seen the other forum post (https://www.akeebabackup.com/support/forum/admin-tools-support/500-error-accessing-waf-after-udate/55317.html#p55317)
, which looks like you provided a link to the developers admin tools release to fix, but it seems not to be working correctly.

Thanks in advance.

Hi Luke,

All ATPRO developer releases are listed in https://www.akeebabackup.com/download/developer-releases/admin-tools-professional.html (the latest is on the top of the page). You need to be logged in to AkeebaBackup.com before accessing those downloads.

The latest dev release, 673 at the time of this writing, is working perfectly and I have tested it on numerous sites (over a dozen for sure, I stopped counting after that). VERY IMPORTANT! If you have Akeeba Subscriptions installed, you have to update to Akeeba Subscriptions 2.0.RC1 before installing Admin Tools 2.0.a1 or later.

If this still doesn't help, please provide me with the exact error message you get and under which circumstances you receive that. Remember, telling me "it doesn't work" without any further info means that I can not replicate the issue, therefore I can not solve it. Help me help you. Give me adequate info to replicate the issue and I'll promise you'll have a fix in less than 24 hours. That's how I work :)

Can I add to this as well whilst I am looking into it.

I have just been doing the normal, click the button for auto update to latest version, today I go to access the firewall feature WAF and I get the above error.

I checked my version and I also have the 2.2.a1 which has been installed via auto update.

My steps are:
1. click on akeeba admin
2. control panel appears good
3. click on WAF and the above 500 error appears.

I can access other features fine.

I am now good to go after installing the latest developer release 673.

I also note that you released 3 dev rel. on the same day, which version do we get when it autoupdates.

My control panel now says that it is not up todate but it is, this part is confusing, I also presume others that are utilising the auto update feature are installing the same as we have which would in turn give you this error.

Just stick with 673 until I publish a new release. The updater will always show dev releases as outdated. This is by design. Just ignore it for now and keep an eye on @akeebabackup on Twitter for an announcement of 2.2.a2 :)
