The Admin Tools shows this - "Your site is currently using PHP 7.2.32-1+ubuntu18.04.1+deb.sury.org+1. ...".
But my site was updated to PHP 7.4.8.
Why the above message has not changed reflecting current status?
So, what is wrong and how to fix it?
Everybody will be able to see its contents. Do not include usernames, passwords or any other sensitive information.

Most hosts give you the capability to use more that their default version of PHP. The most common way to change the PHP version is using an ADDHANDLER command in the .htaccess file in the root of your site. There are other ways, this is just the most popular.
Check for an ADDHANDLER in .htaccess, if you find one, put a # at the beginning of the line to make it a comment. Then check the version again. You can see it in Joomla!'s System, System Information. You may find the version goes up to 7.4, you may also find that your host's default PHP is straight out of the Smithsonian, 5.6 or something like that.

Would you please be so kind and give advise for the Nginx I am using?
Ah, nginx is a little different. It is very powerful, but there are a variety of ways that things can be done. NginX can declare the PHP-FPM proxy more than once and there is also no standard place to check.
Please check with your host. Tell them that you're seeing multiple versions of PHP in different areas of your account.
