When updating my template Yootheme I get the following message:
Warning: Failed to change file permissions! Unable to detect manifest file.
When I temporarily remove the files .htacces and .htacces.admintools from the server and then do the udate of Yootheme it works fine.
What do I have to change in the .htaccess maker so that the update goes well?

how do you perform the template update? Within Joomla?
The contents of the .htaccess should no interfere with permissions on your server. Can you please try to perform the update using Joomla default .htaccess file? Do you have the same issue?

I perform the update within Joomla. I have now chosen 'Reset Htaccess Maker options' in Admin Tools - .htaccess Maker. Now the update of the template is working fine.
