I just ran your Magic Eraser Tool (genius!). When I looked at what was left, I noticed that I have 2 FOF4.0 files (see attachment). Is that right?

Since MagicEraser does not remove FOF 4 and FEF 2 it's correct that FOF 4 wasn't uninstalled.

After upgrading to Joomla 4 upgrade all our software to their Joomla 4–only versions. Note that Akeeba Backup 9 has to be manually installed, following the instructions displayed when you click on Components, Akeeba Backup after upgrading to Joomla 4.

After you have upgraded all our software you can manually uninstall FOF 4. If it seems to leave behind an entry, select it and try to uninstall it again. Joomla should detect it's an orphan record and remove it.

I'm sorry that I forgot to add the attachment to my last post.

I'm not upgrading to J4... at least not yet. It looks like I have 2 of the same file. They just have different version numbers. I would assume that I could get rid of the older one?

I understood what you are trying to do. You must not try to remove either of them. It will not be possible under Joomla 3. As for the reason of the duplicate entry, it's because Joomla messed up :) Leave these entries as-is on Joomla 3.

You can only remove these entries when and if you upgrade your site to Joomla 4.
