Hello, this is strange. I installed a new site on Siteground and when I turn on the Backend protection in the htacess maker only the homepage loads. All other frontend pages give me a 403 forbidden page. I have other sites on Siteground with the same Joomla version and AT and have no issues. I've tried to compare the installs to see what might be different but am not seeing anything.

Thank you,

Dave

Did you follow the documentation steps on turning off all features in the .htaccess Maker and enabling them one by one, trying to see whether you can reproduce the problem after each step?

I found it. Why this happened on this one site is unknown. The Base directory of your site (/ for domain's root) was set to administrator/index.php instead of / for some strange reason.

Sorry, I use AT on 45 sites and this has never happened before. So I will check all settings more closely next time I have an issue.

I apologize for wasting your time.
